Challenge: Enter via the melter and head up through the extraction system to check the ducting clear of debris – almost an impossible task without the use of ELIOS2.
Solution: ELIOS2 drone deployed, 3 minute flight, no confined space access or work at height.
Outcome: Debris located, and maintenance undertaken.
Case study confined space
Using our Flyability Elios2 collision tolerant drone operating in some very tricky environments, we provided our client valuable insight into the visual condition inside the ducting, the baffles and the dampers, which otherwise would be very challenging given the restricted access, height and confined space.
