Puffin is committed to limiting environmental impact whilst conducting Small Unmanned Aircraft operations, other works and activities. Protection of the environment is of paramount importance and as such, all our activity will be conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.
To ensure operations have the lowest possible impact on the environment, Puffin and the Accountable Manager shall implement the following approach:
• Minimising waste and printed material as much as practicably possible. Printed material is limited to site copies of RAMS and operational documentation
• Limiting single use plastic as much as possible. Where unavoidable, selecting alternative products – for example biodegradable barrier tape or preferably reusable barriers
• Wherever possible, utilising electric vehicles whilst undertaking business travel in the UK
• Ensuring at all times that recycle schemes are utilised for consumable items such as printer cartridges and single use batteries
• Complying with all linked legislation such as Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment, and Restriction of Hazardous Substances
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation, ensuring our documentation remains current and compliant at all times
